Italy in the 18th Century
Patrick Oliva (baroque violin) & Olivier Labé (lute/theorbo)
These two outstanding French musicians were part of the baroque orchestra for L'Orfeo last summer. Their programme includes a selection of virtuoso music from the period.
Apéritif & canapés: Olives & pistachios with a glass of Vernaccia. Menu: Antipasti misti with assorted Italian breads/Mushroom Tagliatelle Verdi and salad/Cassata/Teas & coffee.

'At Home' with a musical Indian family
Indian evening with a musical family from London who play a broad range of music from Beethoven to a selection of Indian traditional instruments. Indian food 'home-style' completes the evening.

Festival of Britten
Jamie Walton (cello) & Daniel Grimwood (piano)
An evening celebrating the centenary of Benjamin Britten's birth
in association with the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
Frank Bridge Sonata in D minor Op.125 (1913-1917), Britten Cello Sonata in C major (1960)
and Cello Suite No.3 (1972).
The evening reflects aspects of Britten's life and features readings from his early diaries and correspondence. The menu is based on simple cooking as preferred by Britten & Pears.
Apéritif & canapés: Vodka cocktail with pickles on sticks. Menu: Spring vegetable soup/Poached cod with parsley sauce/Roast breast of chicken with sauté potatoes, baton buttered carrots and spinach purée/Jam sponge with custard/Teas, coffee & sugared almonds

The Pasadena Rhythm Boys return yet again.
Another fabulous evening of music from the inter-war years introduced by Keith Nichols.
